I ordered from here twice. The first time I ordered a fish, dinner and three sides. The macaroni and sweet potatoes were delicious. The greens were very aesthetically pleasing. However, they reeked of curry and weren’t seasoned well. The fish portion was so minuscule and it had a weird breading to it. The fish was good, but even with inflation there is no reason to give such small portions. I ordered just the sides again, and the greens still smelled bad. It seems like they were going for Caribbean style and it’s not working too well. The tea is delicious, but very sweet. I’m going to warn anyone that has issues with sugar. Either avoid the tea all together or water it down. The pudding was not good. Very liquified, and it didn’t taste great. In fact, it tasted gritty. Overall, I guess this place tried, but I’m getting vibes that they’re just capitalizing off of the black owned label. More profits for them=less product and higher prices for you.

There is no way I can eat this. The fish is over cooked to the point the meat is dry like dehydrated and greasy at the same time if that makes since. They either ran out of spinach style greens or was giving out toddler amount. Very disappointed and will be going in the trash

The Lounge is nice, great food, great drinks and wonderful atmosphere. The price is just nice for the amount food. The food was great, be ready to take home a doggy bag, they feel your plate. Their specialty is the loaded potatoes and I have to admit the best loaded potato I ever had.

Good eating, great drinks, awesome dance music and cool eclectic set up. I went on a Thursday ($3 crab night). It was a nice causal crowd. No incidents of any kind. Only concern is LOCATION. There is a gated parking. If you have a concern about being in the middle of the hood, it may not be the spot for you. If location don't bother you, then it is a hidden gem in the middle of the hood (next door to Shake and Bake Family Fun Center).

I last visited on Good Friday, and was pleased as always. Not a fan of whiting, so I requested fried salmon which wasn't on the menu, and the chef kindly obliged!! Oh, and don't get me started on the cake 😋 …

Food was decent. Crab night.. crabs come from conrads.. 3$ a crab. Also had the fish mac n cheese and sweet potatoes. Nice presentation. Fish was little seasoned to much for me but it was ok. Overall I would go back

Loved the turkey wings, but the rice & Mac shelf life was over extended , also broccoli was raw I assume , but had flavor . Appreciate the gravy .Thanks again I'll be back to try something else for sure . Nothing was nasty over all

Chicken was fried to perfection. Greens were good. A little on the sweet side but still good. Food was prepared fast (ordered via door dash).

the food was delicious however there was only one server and I'm assuming only one cook so everything took forever... from being greated at the door, to getting our drinks and food. we spent a good two hours in there total. the taste and quality of food does not match the atmosphere at all.

Food tends to be dry or soggy. The fish is okay. Stay away from the steak sub, very bland and soggy. The buffalo wings also beeded much more sauce. Absolutely not worth the money they charge and I never mind spending a pretty penny on food. Just not good. I will try next year but as of now…nope!
